5 Things I’m Hating This Week:

  1. Finding the apartment of your dreams, only to have the landlady go MIA on you for two weeks, and then having to start the apartment hunt all over again. Did I mention I’m doing this all from across the Atlantic Ocean?
  2. Having your potential roommate ignore your calls/texts/emails because freezing out everyone who isn’t in her zip code is the way that she copes when she’s stressed out. 
  3. Ending up on an email list for a random high school football team’s parents, because somebody mistakenly typed in your email address instead of the real parent’s. And because they’re all parents who don’t know how to use email, they just copy+paste the same email list over and over again, so you need to email each sender personally to ask them to take you off the list. It’s not so cute after the 8th time you do this.
  4. My weight loss plateauing. Really infuriating.
  5. Being at home when most of my friends are away.
  6. (Okay, I lied. There are more than 5 things). Not being able to breathe out of my nose because I’m one allergic motherfucker. I feel like I get out of breath and lightheaded from just talking for a while because I can’t breathe. Awesome.
  7. Not being able to write out anything coherent, despite having all these thoughts jumbled up in my brain. Sorry, blog, but this mess of a list will have to do for now.
